Music for the Royal Fireworks....

The show for the end of the Ocean's Festival, here in Lisbon, was really great.

I went there with my wife, our son and my brother-in-law but with the traffic confusion, we couldn't get there in time to see it from the beginning....
Anyway, the end really make it up....
A beautiful fireworks show at the sound of "Music for the Royal Fireworks", of Handel!

Now, I'm going to rest for a while, but listening to "Tubular Bells III" by Mike Oldfield.

See you all tomorrow!

What has to be done first....

Normally, the interface elements are the ones in which a lot of time must be spent....
As the CGI code depends on them and the HTML code is going to be CGI generated, if one doesn't spend this time might have to spend a lot more latter just re-witting the interface code....

But its funny, though....
And these static forms not only allow me to make tests and test my ideas (from a usability level, of course), will also be the base to make the CGI code to produce them....
With my 4th-HTML, it's almost direct. Then I only have to identify the recurrent elements so I can factorise the code....

Sessions....

On of the trickiest things with HTML, HTTP and CGIs is to manage sessions as HTTP is sessionless to start with...

Cookies can help but can't solve all the questions raised.
Anyway, in this work, I'm going to keep concurrence simple... As the information about one account is being edited, it won't be possible to edit it again at the same time.
And, probably, I'll have to resort to timeouts to guaranty that no user account is going to be "locked" by an improper logout method.....
