DNS problems?

Someone has just said, right now, that can access to some of the sites hosted here as long that they reach to others (on the same physical server....)

Can that be due to DNS problems?

Here I can access to all but have local DNS resolution.
The SOA of the "non functioning" domains are working properly....

What can be the cause....?

(no subject)

The problem seamed to be with the DNS server on the Linux server at the office....

I've telneted to there, and could see from it the sites that couldt be viewed from the Windows client computers....
I've restarted the DNS deamon and all seams to be working now....

What makes me hungry is that I don't understand WHY!

Web Cam

Web Cam here has been disconnected as WebCam32 consumes to much resources (processing time) to have it running and still be able to record CDs with safety....

I only have a 400 MHz Pentium II computer with 128 MBytes of RAM :-))))

What does it have in common with an air plains's pilot?....

What does it have in common with an air plains's pilot?....

An air plain pilot's experience is measured in hours of flight.
The experience with problem's resolution is, in the same way, measured in the number of hours solving problems, also! :-))))

I've got one yesterday (at the afternoon) that when installing Windows NT 2000 in a new computer at the office, when detecting the hardware, at some point in the middle it stopped with more or less this error:

Hardware malfunction

Please contact your hardware vendor...

The problem is that the hardware was brand new (the computer had just came in...)!

Well, it's solved for now and Windows 98 and Windows NT 2000 installed but it only after noon I was able to start "really" installing those and even than I had to do it in more than one attempt to get it right the way I wanted them.....

Well, that's life, isn't it?
