Windows 98 is giving me a fight....
The problem, as I discovered after it stoped working yesterday morning, is that it insists in configuring the PCI SCSI card in an address range parcially used by some resources of the motherboard (for power manegement, as far as I casn understand it...) This explains why my system sometines hanged up (which I already knew that was related with the SCSI controller, somehow....).
So, I'll just keep with Windows 2000 and drop Windows 98, at least, as a base OS. I'll try it again but this time, under the protected environment of VMWare 2.0!
