Time....
ajose
I've been using every "microseconds" available to advance on Mex4th, bee it like while I wait at the pizza store for mine to be ready to take them or, like yesterday, while I was fighting with NT4 and had to wait for the computer finish something....

I like to be always doing something. It's not my stile just to lay down and do nothing....
But surely I could use a little more time each day, if I could!

I guess that is essentially a question of being productive.
But when designing something or while programming, the speed by which it goes it's not always constant.
One might be a long time trying to find why something didn't worked as expected and then just suddenly realize and discover why, or might just take a long time trying to find a way to solve a problem that really works and solves it...

The fact is that as I'm developing things I am already taking advantage from previous work (I do go a long length to try not to make wasteful work....) but so far that is not very much evident and as I do have to attend to a lot of issues, the overall speed is still to slow for my own standards, although it has been speeding up.

But there are always lesions to be taken and this last fight against a rebel NT 4 installation did make me learn some....
Instead of 4 to 5 hours (that should have been the normal time to install the NT 4 and al the necessary software) I'm in 20 hours so far.... Of course that I could learn quite a lot but I do know hat this might be a problem in some circumstances....
How does one prepare him/herself to be able not to have to revert to "explore and learning" mode every time something doesn't workout as expected and as it should?

I don't have yet an answer that I can say is definitive and I don't even know for sure if there is one....

But with E.V. I have learned again that when some one just says (about any question that arises) that he/she doesn't what to know the reasons why it happened in first place, the necessary conditions are just created for it to repeat it self over and over again from time to time....
And if you Don't have the time for the delays it forces to do, how can you go but trying to play on anticipation and trying to detect and, happily, resolve problems BEFORE they happen (whenever possible)?
